Notre Dame’s Manti Te’o On Scouting

You saw him play in the NCAA National Championship game, and now Manti Te’o is going pro. After a season of stellar play for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Te’o will enter the NFL Draft in April and experts predict will be a first round pick.

But even with all his success Te’o hasn’t forgotten his roots, the All-American and Heisman runner-up, is a proud Eagle Scout, calling the distinction one of the highlights of his life. Read more about Te’o's thoughts on Scouting here.

Maxwell Award for player of the year, given by sportscasters, writers, and NCAA coaches
Walter Camp Award for player of the year, given by coaches and sports information directors
Vince Lombardi/Rotary Award for outstanding lineman
Chuck Bednarik Award for defensive player of the year
Bronko Nagurski Award for defensive player of the year
Dick Butkus Award for outstanding linebacker
Lott IMPACT Trophy for outstanding defensive player
He also finished an impressive second in voting for the prestigious Heisman Trophy.
