What You Need To Know About ‘Fantastic Four’

The Fantastic Four are back. Marvel’s classic superhero squad will be appearing in Fantastic Four, hitting theaters August 7, 2015.

With so many blockbuster movies on the horizon, Fantastic Four hasn’t gotten much attention. But based on its cool artwork — and the jaw-dropping trailer below — maybe it should be getting more.

For those unfamiliar with the story, the Fantastic Four is a group of superhero scientists who are accidentally exposed to radiation that gives them each unique superpowers. The group consists of: Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm aka The Invisible Woman, Ben Grimm aka The Thing and Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch.

FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
