Submit video of your best defensive play, and you could win a Rawlings Gold Glove — just like the Major Leaguers.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Gold Glove Award, which honors baseball’s best defensive players, the Rawlings company is going to award a Junior Rawlings Gold Glove Award for amazing play by kids who are 12 years old and younger.
To be nominated, your parents should submit a video of one of your incredible plays to www.RawlingsGoldGlove.com by July 10. On Aug. 1, video of the 10 finalists will be posted on that site so that fans around the world can vote for their favorite play. The winner of the Junior Rawlings Gold Glove Award will be announced in September.
