What’s Inside the Mysterious Void In the Great Pyramid?

With unexplained origins, amazing engineering and plenty of surprises, Egypt’s Great Pyramid of Giza has been puzzling scientists for centuries. And it just got even more mysterious.

Scientists have discovered a previously unknown void inside the Great Pyramid. The discovery was made using very sci-fi-sounding “cosmic ray technology.” Imagine how doctors use an X-ray to look at a broken bone. That’s what happened with the pyramid, except scientists used rays from space to get a never-before-seen look inside the Great Pyramid.

What’s inside? Your guess is as good as any … at least, for now. It could be years before the Egyptian government lets scientists snoop through the 455-foot-tall structure.

In the meantime, let us know what you think could be inside in the comments below!
