The World’s Largest Bee Is An Absolute Unit

The world’s largest bee is a freaky, scary, absolute unit of an insect — and it was just spotted for the first time in decades in Indonesia. Once thought to be extinct, Wallace’s giant bee (Megachile pluto) is alive and well, according to a group of scientists in Southeast Asia. It’s almost the size of your palm and has a tongue that’s nearly an inch long!
