Stonehenge Skeleton

A teenager buried near Great Britain’s Stonehenge monument had traveled from a Mediterranean area hundreds of miles away. This news proves that Stonehenge was an important destination even in prehistoric times. The teenager’s skeleton dates to 1,550 B.C.

The boy, believed to have died at age 14 or 15, was found wearing a necklace of yellow beads. The necklace, which traces to a Mediterranean area, also suggests he came from a wealthy family.
