Live! Watch Brown Bears Feasting At an Alaskan River

It’s back! The annual 24-hour live stream from Explore.org, showing bears feeding on salmon, is finally up and going.

This year, it shows Brooks River in Alaska’s Katmai National Park — and it really delivers. In the few minutes we spent watching, here have been dozens of bears in action.

Why Brooks Falls? The place is famous for drawing more than 100 Brown Bears each year, all descending on a mile long stretch the river to feast on the largest Sockeye Salmon run in the world.
