Here’s How To Get Your Force Friday Star Wars Toys

Star Wars: The Last Jedi doesn’t hit theaters until Dec. 15, but the hype is officially here. Sept. 1 marks Force Friday, a celebration of the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and features the release of the film’s toy and action-figure line, a number of new novels and reference books.

Like the 2015 event, you can find new Star Wars toys, gear, books and more at stores and online. Here’s a few of the cool products:

Star Wars Millennium Falcon Lego Set ($799.99)

Lego is calling its new Millennium Falcon Lego set one of its largest and most epic models ever. We agree. It includes laser cannons, landing legs, a boarding ramp and a cockpit with room for four minifigs. Plus, it has a canopy that detatches.

Lenovo Star War Jedi’s Challenges AR Experience ($199.99)

Lenovo and Disney have partnered up to create an augmented reality toy that allows you to tackle Star Wars themed obstacles — like facing off against Kylo Ren in a lightsaber battle. The setup includes of Lenovo’s Mirage AR headset, tracking beacon and a lightsaber controller. The software is entirely mobile-app based.

Hasbro’s Porg Toys ($40)

Inspired by the curious creatures from on Ahch-To Island in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, these Porg toys chatter and make real sounds, flaps, waves, waddles, and move.

R2-D2 and BB9E App-Enabled Droids by Sphero ($179.99, $149.99)

Like the BB-8 Sphero toy from 2015, these droids can be controlled with a smart device and use augmented reality to show holographic simulations from the Star Wars galaxy.

Praetorian Guard action figure ($20)

JAKKS Pacific’s line of action figures includes new character Praetorian Guard. The characters are guards of Supreme Leader Snoke in the movie.

Speaking of Snoke, here’s the first-ever 6-inch scale action figure of Supreme Leader Snoke, who will exclusively retail at Gamestop this Fall for $35. The figure, based on Snoke’s appearance in the new movie, features a fabric robe and comes with his very own throne to sit on.

Unlike the 2015 event, Force Friday II is accompanied by a cool augmented reality game through the weekend that allows you to reveal new characters and news about the movie. Here’s how to play

To celebrate Force Friday II, fans can reveal new and favorite characters from Star Wars: The Last Jedi in augmented reality, and help the Resistance find information about key personnel:

  1. Download the Star Wars app (for iPhone and Android) and launch the “Find The Force” feature.
  2. Starting today, look for Star Wars graphics with the “Find The Force” logo at participating retail locations and websites. Click here for full list.
  3. Scan these graphics using the “Find The Force” feature to reveal AR character experiences.
  4. A data chip will be unlocked each time a new AR character experience is revealed. Unlock digital rewards as you collect more data chips!
  5. Each graphic reveals a different AR character experience every day from September 1-3.
