At this year’s Indy 500, Santino Ferrucci drove the No. 19 car for Dayle Coyne Racing and landed seventh place overall. And sure, his driving skills on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway may have scored him a Rookie of the Year title. But that’s not the only exciting part of his run at the 103-year-old event!

Now, take a closer look.

That’s right! Ferrucci is repping Scouts big time! He has the Boy Scouts of America logo on his car. Plus, He and his whole team also have “Be a Scout!” on their uniform sleeves.

The Scouting branding on the car and uniforms is a gift from Dayle Coyne Racing. It costs the BSA nothing.

If you’re wondering if Ferrucci was a Scout in his younger years, the answer is no. He started racing at 5, he said, so there wasn’t a lot of time for other activities.

But that doesn’t stop him from making Scouts proud every time he takes to the course!
