Here’s the puzzle:

A man was looking at a portrait when a passerby asked him, “Whose picture are you looking at?” The man replied: “Brothers and sisters have I none, but this man’s father is my father’s son.”

Whose picture was the man looking at?

  1. This man’s father = guy in picture’s dad
    my father’s son = myself
    The dad of the guy in the picture is me
    The picture is of his son

  2. It is his son. The person in the portrait’s father is the person looking at it father’s son. And since he has no siblings, that is him. So he is that person’s father. And that person is his son.
