The Caracal, also known as the desert lynx, is a wildcat widely distributed across Africa, Asia and India. It’s similar to most other cat species, except for a long tuft on the tip of the ear, stretching several inches upward.
It’s also know for it’s impressive leaping ability, helping the Caracal catch low-flying birds. Take a look at this video of two Caracal’s leaping more than 10 feet int he air for a quick snack.
