Santa Fe ghost mystery solved

A ghostly image caught by a surveillance camera at the Sante Fe Courthouse in New Mexico was just a bug, according to an investigator who specializes in the paranormal.

The surveillance video was taken in June and showed a glowing spot drifting in front of a police car parked under some trees. The video spread across the Internet with many people claiming that it showed a ghost.

Benjamin Radford, a paranormal investigator, drove to Santa Fe to investigate. After ruling out a few theories — like it was just a reflection or a piece of cottonwood fluff — he bought a bunch of ladybugs and placed them on the camera’s housing. Sure enough, the bugs produced an image just like the ghostly video.
