If you’re a fan of Toy Story, you will love this shot-for-shot, live-action remake.
For more than two years filmmakers Jonason Pauley (21) and Jesse Perrotta (19) have been filming their version of “Toy Story,” using no animation or special effects, instead relying on actual toys to portray Woody and the gang.
The young filmmakers made the toys move with a combination of stop-motion photography, puppet strings and wires. The process was lengthy and painstaking, and one we think is very cool.
This is the sort of project that you can do on your own, with patience, time and a good camera. If you’re interested in film-making, give it a shot. It would be fun and educational.
