Superman’s “S” Has Changed 25 Times.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Superman has been around for 75 years, portrayed by about a dozen actors in movies and TV shows, and thousands of illustrations in comic books and cartoons. That said, the Big Blue Boy Scout hasn’t changed much. What has changed, is the famous “S” on his chest.

The famous insignia, representing his family name on Krypton, has been through about 25 changes. Check them out below:

      Great question. Here’s the answer:
      The “8″ is the Kryptonian symbol for “air.” It’s also an infinity symbol rotated 90 degrees.
