Guess Who’s Back!

Big news today!

Disney has just agreed to purchase Lucasfilm, the company responsible for every Star Wars movie, TV show, game and toy.

What’s even more exciting is that Disney, the company behind ‘Pirates of Caribbean,’ ‘Toy Story,’ ‘WALL-E’ and ‘Cars’  is also making a seventh ‘Star Wars’ movie. The film, tentatively called Episode 7, is set for release in 2015, to be followed with Episodes 8 and 9 every two or three years.

The bad news is that we’re not yet sure which characters will be in the new films, or even what the story will be. We will have to stay tuned for more details, but here’s something cool in the meantime.

‘Angry Birds Star Wars’ will be released for mobile devices on Nov. 9, as the famous birds take on the roles of Star Wars characters like Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. The pigs will fill the Empire’s roles. Here’s a sneak peek at the new characters in action!

What are you more excited about, a seventh Star Wars movie, or a new Angry Birds Star Wars game?
