This Glow-in-the-Dark Shark Is Awesome

Scientists recently discovered a new Central American shark species called Etmopterus benchleyi. Thanks to the shark’s dark color and tendency to sneak around the ocean floor, they’re nicknaming it the “ninja lanternshark.” Even cooler: The shark has mysterious bioluminescent patches on its sides and spine, making it literally glow as it swims around the ocean depths.
