Adidas Is Making 3-D—Printed Sneakers, Customized to Your Foot

Imagine being able to eliminate painful foot blisters and squished toes. That’s what Adidas is aiming to do with Futurecraft, a line of 3-D–printed shoes that are made according to your exact footprint.

Simply visit your local Adidas store and go through a series of brief tests (including a run on a treadmill and precise foot scanning), and you’ll get a custom-made, one-of-a-kind shoe before you leave the store.

Adidas expects to begin testing Futurecraft in select stores throughout the year.

  1. I will definetly get pair of these shoes sometime in the future, and the process of making the shoes is really cool too.
